Technical Documentation & Protocols
LaunchBot uses a "buffer" strategy to ensure your automated swarms never get stuck with insufficient funds. Here is the technical breakdown of how we account for every lamport:
1. Initial Distribution
When you "Ignite," the app calculates a single transaction that sends your specified SOL amount to each wallet. The gas for this initial funding is paid by your Main Connected Wallet.
2. The 0.005 SOL Buy Buffer
During a buy sequence, we proactively leave 0.005 SOL behind. This ensures the wallet has enough to pay for the buy transaction, create the Associated Token Account (ATA) rent (~0.002 SOL), and cover the future sell transaction.
3. The Reclaim (Cleanup)
During the final step, we return the SOL back to your main wallet, leaving only the bare minimum (5,000 lamports) required by the network to pay for that final transfer.
Result: Your swarm wallets are autonomous. As long as you fund them with at least ~0.01 SOL, they have enough fuel to complete the entire cycle successfully.
